Welcome to Hixson Farms! We are a first-generation family farm that takes pride in our diverse collection of farm animals. From cows and pigs to chickens and goats, we have it all. Click through our gallery below to meet some of our residents and learn more about them.

Ellie

Hi! My name is Ellie and I was born in Michigan. I am 75% Highland cow and 25% Dexter.

I like apple cookies and mooing really loudly.

Peaches

Hi I'm Peaches. I'm a Nigerian Dwarf nanny. I love scratches between my ears and hanging out with my goat friends.

Porky

I am Porky. I'm a registered Kune Kune pig. I like to eat pretty much everything and I like my back scratched.

Fergus

Hi! I'm Fergus and I am a Scottish Highland bull calf. I love apples, getting my fur brushed, and hanging out with my mom.

Not to brag...but I am kind of famous. I am the unofficial mascot for Covenant College.

Dave

I'm Dave and I am a Boer goat. I'm the "goat ambassador" at Hixson Farms because I show all the new goats how things are done.

Oberon

My name is Oberon but I go by Obbie. I spend my days hanging out with Dave or all my goat girlfriends. I am a Registered Nigerian Dwarf buck,

Cinnamon

Hi I am Cinnamon and I love being a farm puppy! I great all visitors by jumping in their car and begging for a ride. I am a happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever.

Lola

My name is Lola. When I am not posing for photos, I enjoy hopping around the house and hanging out with Bugs (as in Bunny). I am a Holland Lop.
